Making A Place For Families Living With Dementia

Our goal is to love, care for, and serve families who have a loved one living with dementia. Notice the word “live”! There is so much living to do: songs to be sung, laughter to be shared, scripture to be held, and discoveries to be made while you live with dementia. Sanctuary Respite Ministries desires to create a place where all that can happen in our sanctuary space at the Ridge Campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In addition, caregiver support groups can help loved ones to learn, love and find their way in uncharted territory, too.

Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

3187 Ridge Avenue // Macon, GA 31204

$30.00 a session

If we meet new friends and need more time, we will begin opening on Mondays.

Miss Forget Me Not Pageant

Saturday, April 2 at 2pm

Trinity United Methodist Church in Warner Robins

This pageant was created by two sisters, Michaela and Remi Heide, wanting to make a difference and honor their grandmother who lived with dementia. Last year they held the first annual pageant where over $6,000 was raised and donated to the Alzheimer’s Association and Sanctuary Respite Ministry in Macon, GA. Both young ladies have also volunteered with us at Sanctuary Respite Ministry. This pageant is open to ages 4 and up. Please email for more information and to register.
