Keynote speaker:
Kim Jenkins, Director of Open Door Community House, Columbus

Sondra Hinson and Doss Edwards

Kim Jenkins speaks out of her experience with inner city ministry in Columbus and from her study of the changing face of mission work. She has brought her helpful, practical teaching in workshops around the

South Georgia Conference. Come be blessed and learn with us.

There is no charge for the evening. Voluntary donations of school supplies for ages 5-17 will be accepted to support the Open Door Community House ministry to children and families.

A light sandwich and salad supper will be provided by the United Methodist Women.

The United Methodist Women will sponsor a sewing event to make Days4Girls hygiene bags on July 21-22. These bags include specially handmade items designed to assist girls in impoverished countries to handle monthly needs so that they can attend school and get a good education. We will need people to measure, cut, fold, iron, sew and serge. That means there is a place for everyone who would like to be involved, whether or not you can sew. Stay tuned in July for more information. You may find out more about this project at www.days4girls.org.
